My name is Sukumaya Bhujel. Before I came to hostel my life was very difficult. I had to work hard. I had to carry stones and crush it. I had to cook food for my family. I was always busy working. I had no time to go to school. My family is very poor, that’s why I had to help my family and they have no money to send me school.
Therefore, I had to do all the household work and work very hard. At that time I wanted to go to school and study. I always asked my family if I can go to school and study. But my family refused. When I questioned my parents why I cannot go to school? At that time they replied because I have to work and earned money so that we can afford to buy foods. But now my life is much easier than before and my family is very pleased because I got a chance to study.
I have many facilities in hostel like food, clothes, computers etc. I study in the best school of Nepal. Here in hostel I have sixteen friends and we love each other. Our teachers also love us very much. They love us like their own children. I am very happy here. I think my hostel like my own home. Now my life is very nice. I have learnt many things here like we should love each other, respect the older and love the younger. We should speak politely to each other.
Hostel is very important to us and we have sponsors to help us too. They help us in many ways. They have provided us with quality education and have made our life easy. They are like my God and I feel very fortunate to have them. We have to study hard, they want us to be happy and make our future bright. We are very happy to stay in hostel. In Dhading there are many children like us who wants to come in the hostel and get good education. But I’m lucky enough to get the opportunity.
It’s because I was so keen to study and help2educate kept faith in me. Lastly, I would like to say that our sponsor and hostel staffs are like a god to us. They love us very much. I also love them very much. I’m very thankful to our sponsors and help2educate for supporting us in every way. You are the best human being in the world. God bless you all!
