Volunteer Application Form

  1. About the Application Form

    We have tried to keep the application form as simple as possible but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us

    We also recommend that you read over what what we provide before committing to volunteering in Nepal.

    At the end of the application form you will be asked to make a minimum donation of £50 Please do not donate the full amount for volunteering as you should wait to see if your application is successful.

    We will reply to your application immediately but it will take up to 10 working days to confirm that we have been successful in arranging for you to volunteer in Nepal. The process is managed in Nepal in consultation with our local partner organisation

    This is because we want to match you with a volunteering opportunity that really needs your support. If we can not arrange for you to volunteer in Nepal then we will refund your initial £50 donation.

    If your application is successful we will contact you immediately to ask you for your donation and ask you to organise your travel arrangements.

  2. Help to Educate is a registered charity and we arrange teaching placements in Nepal. Our placements are not holidays and are not intended to be seen as such. We recommend that you research and plan your trip to Nepal before committing to teaching in a Nepali school, volunteering on a project or participating in Backpackt. As a volunteer we will provide you with airport pickup, orientation, training, a voluntary placement, food, lodging, a SIM card, a Lonely Planet Guide, backup, an email address and a complimentary Mountain Flight. For a more detailed description, please see our ‘what we provide’ in our application pack.
