How can I apply?

We have tried to keep the application form simple and easy to use but if you have any questions please read our FAQs or alternatively please do not hesitate to contact us. We also recommend that you read over what we provide before committing to volunteering in Nepal.

Your deposit
A deposit of £50.00 is required to complete your application which can be paid through PayPal or a cheque made payable to Help to Educate should be sent to the above address. If you pay through paypal you do not need an account with them and can pay using a debit or credit card.
Once we have received your application we will send you an email request for your deposit. This must be paid before we can process your application form.
Or you can go straight to our payment page when you have completed your application form.
What happens next?
We will reply to your application and deposit immediately but it will take up to 10 working days to confirm that we have been successful in arranging for you to volunteer in Nepal. The process is managed in Nepal in consultation with local host schools and hostels. This is because we want to match you up with a school and hostel that really needs your support. If we can not arrange for you to volunteer in Nepal then we will refund your deposit.
Once we have confirmed your placement we recommend that you start arranging for your travel to and from Nepal. You will need to confirm your arrival and departure dates before you go. We will email you in advance to remind if you have not done so.
After we have received your donation, we will send you a Pre-departure Information Pack. This includes a confirmation letter, contact details, an information sheet, our responsible volunteer policy, and advice on getting the most out of your voluntary experience.
What about my donation?
You will need to make your donation to Help to Educate in full prior to leaving. There are many methods in which you can do this but the easiest way is to donate online. We will also confirm that we have received your donation and let you know where we plan to use it.
If it helps, you can also make your own fundraising page with Justgiving and raise funds to cover part or your entire donation to Help to Educate. You need to have a volunteer placement with us before you can start fundraising for your donation. I

Amendments and Cancellations
If something comes up and you need to amend your placement then you can do so without further cost to yourself. Find out more here
